Susan Sarandon to guest star on 30 Rock

Five time Academy Award nominee Susan Sarandon is to guest star in the March 17th episode of 30 Rock titled “Queen of Jordan”. No details about her character yet but possibly she is the “lost love (that) returns to Frank’s life, causing him to question his maturity”. Susan has starred in such movies as Thelma & Louise, Dead Man Walking, Little Women, Elizabethtown and my favourite, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Aaron Sorkin to appear on 30 Rock

According to EW, Sorkin — who will find out in two weeks whether his screenplay for The Social Network is deserving of an Oscar — will play himself in an episode that’s expected to air in March or April. As usual, insiders are tight-lipped about the actual plot, so let’s just assume Sorkin’s appearance will feature lots of artful yammering and long, continuous shots through the TGS halls.
