Five time Academy Award nominee Susan Sarandon is to guest star in the March 17th episode of 30 Rock titled “Queen of Jordan”. No details about her character yet but possibly she is the “lost love (that) returns to Frank’s life, causing him to question his maturity”. Here’s some images of Susan looking wonderful for her age (she’s 64).
Susan has starred in such movies as Thelma & Louise, Dead Man Walking, Little Women, Elizabethtown and my favourite, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Thanks to AceShowbiz for the images.

We’re back after an extended Xmas/New Year break with a synopsis for the next episode of 30 Rock, airing on January 20. I know there are going to be a lot of people who are NOT happy with that bit in all caps.
01/20/2011 (10:00PM – 10:30PM) (Thursday) : LIZ LEMON’S NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION COMPLICATES JACK’S WEDDING Company budget cuts affect the TGS staff, and Liz (Tina Fey) tries to use Jack’s (Alec Baldwin) wedding mistake in her favor. ET talked to the cast of 30 Rock about the possible bleeps and bloopers that might take place when they go live this Thursday night.
“I think it will be a tie between Tracy [Morgan] and Alec [Baldwin],” Tina Fey, who plays Liz Lemon, tells ET when asked who will be the first to need the seven-second time delay.
The actors will perform the show twice, once live for the East Coast and then again for the West Coast.
“We are rehearsing today and tomorrow and all day into the next day,” Tina says. “I am hoping by the time we actually do the show, it will all be completely memorized, so we will just be able to have fun.”
Tracy, who plays Tracy Jordan, has an interesting comparison: “It feels like it is on the same level as when I was growing up on welfare and the day the food stamps came. There was excitement in the house.”
In the live episode, it is Liz’s 40th birthday, but no one seems to remember … or do they? The rumor is that Matt Damon and Jon Hamm may be part of Liz’s surprise.
“I couldn’t possibly say,” Tina says with a straight face. Then she adds, “But those guys do tend to follow me around.”
Tune in on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. when “30 Rock” goes live on NBC.
Queen Latifah, who has appeared in both feature films (“Set It Off,” “Chicago”), and television sitcoms (“Living Single,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”), is demanding that Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin add more diversity to their hit primetime show.
Tonight, Queen Latifah guest stars on “30 Rock” as Congresswoman Regina Bookman. In the episode entitled “Let’s Stay Together,” Jack (Baldwin) must appear before Congress to discuss NBC’s merger with KableTown. He hopes that he will charm celebrity members (guest star Rob Reiner), but Latifah’s Bookman hits him with a hard truth–Jack’s programming lineup is a little too white.
Jack then enlists Tracy (Tracy Morgan) to come up with a few unique development ideas to appease Bookman. And considering that Tracy is both unpredictable and inappropriate, this likely won’t end well.
You can check out Queen Latifah’s guest star appearance on “30 Rock” tonight at 8:30 pm ET on NBC.
